FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a Summit Display?
A solid 1" (25mm) thick block of crystal-clear acrylic with your photo printed and sealed inside, edges diamond-polished. It stands on its own on a desk or shelf — no frame, no hardware.

Is my phone photo good enough?
Almost certainly yes. Photos from any phone made in the last five years print beautifully at our sizes. We review every image before printing; if something's off, we email you before anything gets made.

What makes a great block?
Horizon-level shots, photos with a person in them, and images with good daylight. Screenshots and heavily cropped images are the only common problems.

How long until it arrives?
72-hour production plus shipping — most US orders arrive within 1–2 weeks. You get tracking by email.

Which size should I pick?
4"×4" and 4"×6" suit desks and bedside tables. 5"×7" and 6"×6" hold their own on a shelf or mantle. 8"×8" is a statement piece.

Portrait or landscape?
Match your photo: summit panoramas are usually landscape; shots of a climber standing are usually portrait. Square sizes work for either with a crop.

Can I include special instructions?
Yes — there's a notes field on the product page. Cropping preferences, the peak and date, gift instructions: we read every note.

Is it a good gift?
It's the best gift for someone whose proudest photo is buried in their camera roll. Add their photo and a note — packaging is plain, no invoice inside.
